Now, Google has announced an Early Adopter Program (EAP) which will allow Gmail users to access new capabilities like Gmail offline and nudging as a means to test out the new features before it rolls out in full swing.

Immediately transition their users to the new Gmail.

"Approximately eight weeks after the GA announcement in July, any users who haven't yet been transitioned to the new Gmail will be automatically migrated to the new experience".

It has only been a few weeks since the new Gmail design was officially confirmed by Google. And by October 2018, new Gmail will be the law of the land, with no option to opt-out.

The confidential mode will allow users to set an expiration date for sensitive emails on their Gmail, sending recipients a link to content rather than the full email to make sure it can be safely deleted. With that in mind, the company is giving G Suite users months to prepare. And, then onwards, users can no longer opt out of the new mail. At that time, "any users who've opted out of the new Gmail will be automatically migrated to the new experience, with no option to opt out", the Web giant said.

It is worth mentioning the July launch timeline was shared for G Suite users.

The update will also see Google update the design of Gmail for the first time in more than a decade.

After you've enabled the new Gmail for your domain or organization, your users can opt in individually from their Gmail settings.

It just seems that choice is, update or stop using Gmail.

Google plans to provide further transitions in details in July but is encouraging admins to start testing it with users now.

Also, It's now the only version of Gmail that supports a feature called Smart Compose, which finishes sentences with the aid of machine learning and artificial intelligence.

Google's G Suite makeover is aimed at saving businesses email hours, opens and time spent on notifications.
