Well, Bloomberg is here with a report on Wednesday that essentially confirms some oft-rumored expectations for Google's upcoming flagship smartphones, including the aforementioned notch.

Despite featuring the best of the best hardware specifications for Android devices, Google only managed to ship 4 million smartphones in 2017. The Pixel 3 XL will also feature a almost edge-to-edge display with minimal bezels, except at the bottom. The smaller Pixel 3 smartphone will sport an older design with wide bezels above and below the screen, while the larger Pixel 3 XL will have narrower bezels up top that copy the iPhone X's notch. Google intends to keep updating its Pixel line annually as it sees the hardware division as important to the company's long-term future. Verizon is expected to again be the exclusive mainstream carrier partner in the United States, though Project Fi support is expected too. Of course, Google heavily relies on its HTC hardware team that it acquired a while back. We know the Pixel 3 is now in the works as shown in an AOSP while Pixel 3 XL details were leaked recently.

A Bloomberg report claims that Foxconn will make Google's next generation Pixel handsets.

Smart will be eligible to receive offers from other teams but the Celts will be able to match and sign him to an extension if they wish.

'The bigger Pixel will include two camera lenses on the front of the phone inside of the notch, ' Bloomberg wrote.

The top model is now listed as Google GB1, which could be the Google Pixel 3 XL. While the latest iPhones include dual cameras to offer a bokeh effect in photos, Google's phones create this same effect by using a single lens and with special software. Apple is planning a new low-priced iPhone, an update to the iPhone X size, and a larger phone with an about 6.5-inch screen for this year as well, Bloomberg News has reported. This might surprise some as LG faced a lot of criticism for the OLED display in last year's Pixel 2 XL, with users complaining of a blue hue, muddy colours and grainy images. Overall, despite generally strong reviews, sales of the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL have not been good.
