Stephen Curry says Cavaliers are more than one-man team

The Houston Rockets star guard Chris Paul's status for Monday's Game 7 of the Western Conference finals will be a game-time decision, coach Mike D'Antoni has confirmed. "I mean, it's been Cedar Point".

The three-time champion left everything on the court as he played all 48 minutes and put the Cavs on his back like he has done all season.

They can still do it all the way to a fourth straight NBA Finals. Statistically, this wasn't even James' best game of the series, but he did it in a hostile environment, in a do-or-die game, without taking any breaks, against a team that was trying to "make him exert as much energy as humanly possible", in the words of Celtics coach Brad Stevens.

"Our goal going into the series was to make him exert as much energy as humanly possible and try to be as good as we can on everybody else, who are good players. This is one of the most challenging seasons I have had".

"We've been counted out for a long time this season", added James.

While losing Game 7 of the Eastern Conference finals on your home floor is extremely disappointing, especially given how winnable the game was for Boston, the future is extremely bright for the Celtics. Just past the seven minute mark in the 4th quarter, while Celtics only trailed by a few baskets, Jayson Tatum took off from the perimeter and yammed one right over LeBron's head. "We've just got one chance".

Thompson saved 21 of his game-high 35 points for the second half and Curry chipped in with 16 of his 29, helping Golden State go up by as many as 30 en route to the series-tying win.

Cleveland Cavaliers v Boston Celtics: LeBron James helps Cavs tie series
One game, one win, stands between your Cleveland Cavaliers and a fourth consecutive trip to The Finals. Terry Rozier paced the Celtics - now 1-6 on the road - with 28 points, and Jaylen Brown had 27.

"I hate when people say that", he said, per 95.7 The Game in San Francisco.

The Rockets, who led the league with 65 regular season wins, ran roughshod over Golden State in the opening quarter as they raced to a 39-22 lead.

Boston shot just nine-from-35 from beyond the arc at the TD Garden, leaving the Celtics with too much to do during a dramatic elimination showdown as 33-year-old James booked his place in the National Basketball Association finals for the eighth consecutive season.

It wasn't until the second half that his supporting cast came to life and the Cavaliers were able to wrestle control back from the Celtics in the low-scoring contest. Whenever Tatum got a favorable switch and an opportunity against the Cavaliers, he seemed to be up to the challenge, no matter how hot the pressure cooker. "You get these guys on a roll, and they can hurt you".

James finished the conference finals averaging 33.6 points, after putting up 34 points per game in the conference semifinals and 34.4 points in the first round. To be honest, I haven't even really processed it. We're still confident. We're a confident group.

"It's going to be fun", Stephen Curry said.

At the podium, James said he hadn't processed the fact he is going back to the Finals.
