A service dog gave birth to eight puppies at Tampa International Airport on Friday.

Diane Van Atter said her 2-year-old golden retriever, Ellie, went into labor unexpectedly as they were waiting to board a flight home to Philadelphia.

Due to the unexpected birth, the woman and her daughter missed their flight.

City of Tampa Fire Rescue was on the scene to provide support to the new mother and documented the delivery.

"I have to go, the father is getting excited", she said.

Evans has not responded to any of CNN's requests for comment since first speaking out about Weinstein in the New Yorker last fall. The charges follow a months-long investigation that involved the Manhattan district attorney's office.

The father, Nugget, was also there for the big event.

Van Atter said people from all over came over to help, and thankfully she had packed towels just in case. "Every time she's ready to deliver another one he starts jumping around", James told Tampa Bay Times.

Paramedics Larry Glanton and Lt Natalie Brown patiently delivered seven male pups, before the arrival - a little girl. The family, puppies and all, will be driving to Philadelphia instead, about 1,000 miles.
