In a lengthy profile on the first lady published Monday, the Post noted "a persistent rumor [floating] around Washington that Melania doesn't really live in the White House and stays in a house with her parents and Barron near his suburban Washington school".

Melania Trump has launched an awareness campaign called "BE BEST" that aims to promote healthy development in children.

Melania Trump will announce her eagerly awaited formal platform on Monday during a Rose Garden event, almost 16 months into her tenure as US First Lady, the media reported.

The campaign will focus on the issues of well-being, social media and opioid abuse, she said. Former first lady Michelle Obama made efforts toward improving child education, poverty and nutrition.

"As a mother and as first lady, it concerns me that in today's fast-paced and ever-connected world, children can be less prepared to express or manage their emotions and often times turn to forms of destructive or addictive behavior such as bullying, drug addiction or even suicide", Trump said.

Her travels as First Lady seem to have also influenced her White House focus.

Despite the holiday's popularity in the United States, many don't know what they're actually celebrating. Despite the misconceptions, 70 percent of Americans said they plan to celebrate.

Trump has promised to tackle cyberbullying as first lady, hosting major online and social media companies at the White House earlier this year.

Selection has recently been the technique in late months; Trump's public events have touched on everything from assisting kids fight negativity, to working with all the ramifications of opioid misuse on teens and becoming nice when using the social media marketing. Though she has been somewhat reclusive during her time at the White House, the First Lady has visited hospitals across the globe and visited with families impacted by the opioid epidemic.

"This is something that is extremely important to the first lady", Sanders replies.

Mrs. Trump took a little more time to pull her initiative together.

"Let us teach our children the difference between right and wrong, and encourage them to be best in their individual paths in life", she said. BE BEST will highlight the importance of using social media and the internet in positive ways.

According to the White House, through the initiative the First Lady will promote existing programs that are already working to "overcome the issues they face growing up".
