The NFL Network first reported the arrest.

Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Daryl Worley may be in some trouble with the league, and the law. That's when police arrived and a confrontation unfolded, according to the report.

A gun was reportedly recovered on the scene, too.

An Eagles spokesman said the team is in the process of gathering information about the Sunday incident.

Rapoport added more details.

Rapoport tweeted that Worley was passed out in his vehicle near Broad and Pattison Streets, blocking a highway.

Worley was acquired in exchange for wide receiver Torrey Smith in a trade with Carolina last month. In college, Worley pleaded no contest to misdemeanor assault.

He started 25 games in his two seasons with the Panthers, who took him in the third round of the 2016 draft. Even better, Worley was returning home to Philly, where his parents still live in their same North Philadelphia neighborhood where he grew up.
