Iconic pop sensation Beyonce set the stage on fire with her electrifying performance at Coachella.

BEYONCÉ fans in Spain who are eagerly awaiting her performance in Barcelona on July 11 set social media alight last night (Saturday) after she performed with former Destiny's Child members in California.

Destiny's Child, active from 1997 to 2006, included Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, LaTavia Roberson, LeToya Luckett and Farrah Franklin.

The singer - whose set marked the first time a black woman has headlined the California festival - was a trending topic nearly immediately, sparking hundreds of thousands of tweets declaring the festival #Beychella. Queen Bey started with nothing less than a royal entrance, with a fierce female drummer doing the roll before she appears in her majorette outfit and sashays down the runway with her glistening cape. It was the first appearance for the group since 2015, notes the BBC, and Bey wasn't done there.

Following her two-hour-long performance, many fans took to Twitter with #Beychella.

The insider said the added surprise is "to make up for the fact she was unable to perform a year ago", when pregnant. Beyonce also had a frenetic dance-off with sister, Solange. According to Page Six, Beyoncé's team has been trying to tightly control which photos of her get published, and because it's Beyoncé, they're probably going to pull it off.

This time, it's the turn of one of her all time idols, Beyoncé. "We have been working hard and have a special show planned for you so please be safe and stay hydrated".
