After the rip-roaring success of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy past year, publisher Activision has announced the return of another iconic nineties video game character - Spyro the Dragon.

It is thought they will be fully remastered in high-definition, and collectively contain over 100 levels, updated with graphical enhancements and improved game-play controls.

Last year, Crash Bandicoot was treated to a similar remaster titled "The N. Sane Trilogy". Sane Trilogy, Spyro's Reignited Trilogy brings back the first three games from the iconic franchise. Are any of you looking forward to the Spyro Reignited Trilogy?

Well folks, it's finally official - after months of rumors and leaks, Spyro Reignited Trilogy has been announced by Activision. This doesn't come as much of a surprise as the existence of a remastered Spyro game has been teased recently in the form of purple dragon eggs being sent out to the media. - Fans of the Spyro games may recognize some familiar sounds in Spyro Reignited Trilogy. Tom Kenny, better known to most as the voice of Spongebob Squarepants, will return as the voice of Spyro.

Spyro first graced the PlayStation back in 1998, with the console also getting two sequels, all from developer Insomniac Games. The remaster will also feature a cast of characters that have been "creatively re-imagined with additional flair".

This is something that fans will definitely want when it comes to Spyro Reignited Trilogy details.
