Beckham Jr's behaviour has got him in hot water a couple times during his career, and doubts about his conduct resurfaced last week when a picture was seen of him on social media with a woman and what appeared to be a white powdery substance.

Is the Giants' relationship with one of the sport's uniquely talented players beyond fix? "It's important as coaches and players and anybody who is working together to visit and get a chance to know one another".

Said Shurmur on Tuesday: "I think it's important that you get all the information". "That's why I think it's super important that you have a high-attendance rate at the offseason".

With the Giants being 3-13 last season and the video of Beckham surfacing, anyone on the team, including Beckham, isn't safe from being traded.

Beckham has been in the forefront of a lot of minds lately, especially here at the NFL's annual meeting which began with Giants co-owner John Mara expressing weariness over some of Beckham's off-field antics and opening the door for a possible trade of the megastar receiver. "We all understand that there are certain ways we need to act and certain things we don't want to be doing".

But no such legislation ever materialized, and sales have slumped with heavily pro-gun President Trump in the White House. Since 2009, the number of guns in private hands in the United States has exceeded the country's population.

As bothersome as Norman can be at times, he's not in the same league as his nemesis, Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who can cause headaches behind the scenes like nobody else in the NFL.

The Los Angeles Rams are reportedly getting extremely aggressive about a potential Odell Beckham trade, making the No. 23 overall pick available to the New York Giants.

"All reports are he will be ready to go as we get going", Shurmur said. "I got a little better sense of who he is". "So to be clear: I'm not going to respond to questions about either report, and as I stated earlier, every decision I make is going to be in the best interest of the NY football Giants". "He's been an outstanding player, especially his first three years. I think he really cares and I'm looking forward to working with him".

In fact, Beckham may fall out with Gettleman before he's even played a single game for his new general manager.

In four seasons with the Giants, Beckham has 313 catches for 4,424 yards and 38 touchdowns and was named the 2014 Offensive Rookie of the Year. "And we want guys that understand what it is to be a good teammate".
