Harvard Business School Graduates Have the Third-Highest Starting Salary Nationwide

MIT's graduate program in engineering has again earned a No. 1 spot in U.S. News and Word Report's annual rankings, a place it has held since 1990, when the magazine first ranked such programs.

"The continuing leadership of the MSU nuclear physics program is driven by a combination of the excellence of the faculty, staff and students of NSCL and FRIB and strong support from the National Science Foundation and U.S. Department of Energy Office of Science", said Phil Duxbury, Department of Physics and Astronomy chair.

The college's clinical education program was ranked at No. 31 in a five-way tie with Loyola University at New Orleans, Boston University, University of Minnesota and University of Wisconsin at Madison.

In previous years' rankings, UB's School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences was ranked among the top programs in the country (22). The data come from statistical surveys of more than 2,012 programs and from reputation surveys sent to more than 20,500 academics and professionals, conducted in fall 2017 and early 2018.

"We are thrilled that U.S. News continues to rank FSU among the nation's top law schools and that we continue to improve in these rankings", said Erin O'Connor, dean of the College of Law.

The U.S. News rankings of 194 law schools fully accredited by the American Bar Association are based on a weighted average of the 12 measures of quality described below.

But there was an intriguing subplot to the announcement, with teams permitted to use a fourth substitute in matches that go into extra time.

The College of Education offers master's and educational specialist degrees that prepare professionals for such fields as teaching, school administration, counseling, human resources and leadership in both higher education and athletics. "We also are delighted that the strength and robustness of our environmental program is reflected in the No. 10 ranking". "Most importantly, we continue to be very proud of our 'Nole Nurses who strive to make a difference every day in the lives of others".

Georgia State Law's full-time program is tied at No. 65 with Case Western Reserve University, Loyola Marymount University, University of Cincinnati, University of Kentucky, University of Miami, University of Missouri and University of Tennessee.

U.S. News did not newly rank graduate health disciplines this year, with the exception of Social Work graduate programs in the Diana R. Garland School of Social Work, which were ranked at No. 68 this year.

Other ranked programs include UF's Pharmacy, which retains its No. 9 status, though it was a discipline that U.S. News did not publish a ranking for this year. Among public institutions, FSU's master's program ranked No. 44, while the doctor of nursing practice program ascended to No. 45.

One of those, the Earth Sciences program in the College of Arts and Sciences, improved 23 spots over the most recent ranking from 2014 and is now 38th among public universities. Harvard Medical School tops the list of research-based medical programs, and Harvard Law ranks third among its peers.

U.S. News ranks business schools based on factors like reputation, alumni employment rate, and students' standardized test scores.
