Ryanair has cancelled all flights to and from Dublin, Cork, Kerry, Knock and Shannon Airports today.

KLM was forced to cancel some flights to and from Amsterdam Schiphol due to freezing winds and Geneva airport had to close for a short time yesterday.

Although a status red weather warning reamains in place in some counties, Ryanair say they plan to run all flights tomorrow provided there is no change in the weather conditions.

However, last night, in the height of the blizzard, Dublin Airport shared some eerie footage of just how bad the snow storm was throughout the grounds of the airport.

Passengers had been earlier advised to check flight schedules amid a number of cancelations by carriers but management have now chose to close the Airport from 6pm on Thursday until 5am Saturday morning.
