Rain Thursday Afternoon; A Dry Weekend Ahead

While it won't be as warm as the sunny streak earlier in the week, the timing is better for most. Temperatures will also be very comfortable with lows down to the lower 50s!

We dry out heading into the weekend. While the day looks okay for Monday, the evening will feature increasing cloud cover and rain chances as another low pressure system works across the mountains. It will be a lovely end to the week, and great start to the weekend! Temperatures Thursday and Friday nights will be a bit cooler thanks to a clear sky. Highs in the low 60s. While it is cooler, we will still be above average.

Rain and the chance for snow return next week. Clouds will increase Sunday as temperatures climb to the low 60s, Showers and isolated t-storms will increase after 9 PM from the west ahead of a cold front which moves through early Monday morning.

Sunday we had some rain move through parts of the area. Morning clouds will clear to mostly sunny skies as northwesterly winds at 15 miles per hour gust to 25 at times in the afternoon. 54 to low to mid 60s across Southern Missouri into Northern Arkansas. Wednesday should be a nice day to get outside.

A wet and windy setup will carry us into our Thursday afternoon as a cold front approaches the area.
