"Israel holds Iran and its Syrian host responsible for today's aggression".

The U.S. responded with a deadly barrage of bombs and artillery that U.S. officials say killed about 100 of the attackers. The intervention of Iranian troops and their Lebanese proxy, Hezbollah, together with Russian troops has so far saved and emboldened the Syrian regime.

Another worry for Israel is reporting that Iran might be interested in a permanent base in Syria.

The recent chaos has been exceptional: within a week, al-Qaida-affiliated rebels shot down a Russian jet, Kurdish fighters downed a Turkish helicopter, Israel downed an Iranian drone and the Syrian army shot down an Israeli F-16.

Israel also made it loud and clear that it had no intention of letting Iran get away with its ongoing war games that are meant to make the Jewish State out to be the aggressor - as the Islamic regime has done via its jihadist terror group, Hezbollah, in Syria and Lebanon, as well as amongst the Palestinians in Israel's West Bank and Gaza Strip.

"This is not the first time that Syria has launched missiles at Israel Air Force planes", Katz reminded the Saudi Arabian London-based newspaper, the Elaph, according to INN. Iran would not like to be involved in any such situation. We consider it necessary to unconditionally respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria and other countries of the region. Israel fears that Iran could create a direct land corridor to link up with Hezbollah, which has sworn to destroy Israel.

A Pentagon spokesman said the U.S. fully supported Israel's right to defend itself against threats. Gen. Ronen Manelis, said in a statement.

Israel's concern is well-founded.

Meanwhile, Lebanon's news agency says a missile, apparently from the Syrian air defense, has landed in a lemon grove in a village in southwestern Lebanon.

Asked about the issue of Iran's influence in the region he asserted that the United States believes that the future of responding to the Islamic Republic's influence in Syria is through the political process. It said the station was hit while drones were on regular missions in the country's desert in Homs province. Instead, Putin is using Iran to provide ground forces and enlisting contractors, like those Cossacks from a private Russian company named Wagner, to fight and die - as dozens did the other day in a US airstrike - on the ground.

In the face of the perceived threat from Iranian military presence, Israel has increased the pace of its interventions striking targets in pre-emptive strikes against Hezbollah and Iranian troops in Syria.

SYRIA'S civil war escalated over the weekend when Israel launched a "large-scale attack" in the country against what it describes as "Iranian targets".

Ayodhya: 3-point formula to settle dispute re-emerges
As per the source, the board issued a statement after the Friday meeting, to rule out a compromise on the land in Ayodhya. Ram Janambhoomi- Babri Masjid dispute is a century old point of tussle between Hindus and Muslims.

The incident prompted the Israeli air force to immediately attack Iran's command and control unit housed at T-4.

Last but not least, Russia's stance is going to be defining the nature of the conflict between Israel and Iran.

Iran and its allies denied the drone accusation by Israel and since then Tehran has remained largely silent, avoiding the usual chest-thumping.

Israel said the aircraft flew three or four miles inside its territory before being shot down.

In other words, Russian Federation has been able to thread the hard needle that allowed it to back Syria and indirectly aid Iran for two years plus without making an outright enemy of Israel.

On the other hand, Syria appeared to chalk up the downing of the F-16 as a win. "All worldwide & regional actors interested in stabilizing the region should work together to counter Iran, prevent it from basing itself in Syria and stop its support of Hezbollah". Syrian state media have yet to disclose any casualties or damage.

The downing of an Israeli F-16 by Syrian air defenses on February 10 led to speculations about the opening of a new front in the Civil War. A second pilot was lightly wounded.

Earlier on Monday, the Israeli Army told Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's security cabinet that about half of the Iranian-Syrian surface-to-air missiles were destroyed during the raids on Saturday.

Iran has said it has no military presence in Syria and is only offering Damascus advisory military help.

The Trump administration claimed Israel's attack on Syria was an act of self-defense.

"This is a serious Iranian attack on Israeli territory". "Putin blew the whistle to stop the confrontation between Israel and Iran in Syria and both sides accepted his decision", the paper writes.
