In the story, she also pointed to a stunt that Tarantino pressured her into for Kill Bill, which resulted in a auto crash that lead to injuries she still deals with today. She said she expressed fear and asked that a stunt driver do it instead.

Producer Miramax told her at the time that she could see the footage of the crash if she gave up her right to sue, Thurman said.

Thurman said she obtained the footage now, 15 years later, with the help of Tarantino, though their relationship was damaged by the incident. He said he believed at the time that it was "safe".

But in a wide-ranging interview with Deadline's Mike Fleming Jr. published Tuesday, Tarantino pushed back against claims that he forced Thurman to do the stunt and expressed "total anguish" at the aftermath of the crash.

"While we were getting ready to do Kill Bill, Uma tells me that he had done the same thing to her".

He added: " That was one of my most horrendous mistakes, that I didn't take the time to run the road, one more time, just to see what I would see". "I can act all strangle-y, but if you want my face to get red and the tears to come to my eye, then you kind of need to choke me'".

However, Thurman's auto crash was just one of a few that proved to be problematic for their friendship. I didn't mean to do it. I told her the road was a straight line.

In an Instagram post on Monday, Thurman said the circumstances of this event were "negligent to the point of criminality", but she did not believe there was malicious intent on Tarantino's part. "They lied, destroyed evidence, and continue to lie about the permanent harm they caused and then chose to suppress". "The cover-up did have malicious intent, and shame on these three for all eternity". But it wasn't just Weinstein that she implicated.

However, as per a Thurrott report, Microsoft won't charge an upgrade fee from Home users for disabling the S mode. However, it could allow for the kind of odd exception that Ed needed during his Windows restore.

Through a spokesperson, Weinstein has consistently denied any allegations of non-consensual sex.

In her Times piece, published over the weekend, Thurman also recalled being "attacked" by Kill Bill executive producer Weinstein.

"We understand that members of the production team have stated to individuals in the media that Mr. Weinstein had nothing to do with the aftermath of the crash", the statement continued.

Tarantino has not responded to a request for comment.

I knew enough to do more than I did.

"In light of the recent allegations made by Uma Thurman against Harvey Weinstein and her terrifying work experience on Kill Bill, my name has been mentioned in numerous articles in regards to the choking scene in Inglourious Basterds, Kruger wrote". In a current meeting with Deadline, Tarantino said he knew the Times story was coming and was reached by both Thurman and Maureen Dowd, the creator of the Times piece."I knew that the piece was happening". For some reason there is a lot of hay being made out of this. "I would never react to her this way". "I can explain why I did exactly what I did, but my question is, what's the f***ing problem?" he said.

"Naturally, I did it", he said of spitting on Thurman. "Who else ought to do it?"
