Apple increases iPhone prices in India: Here are the details

According to Apple, the company identified the problem stating that the iPhone X screen becomes temporarily unresponsive after a rapid change to cold weather.

INTERNATIONAL- This past quarter, Apple failed to reach analyst estimate sales of iPhone units of 80 million and only managed to sell 77.3 million iPhones. The top-end 256GB variant is up for grabs for Rs 1,00,798, which is now priced at Rs 1,08,930 with the revised post-budget prices.

On February 1, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said that customs duty on mobile phone import will be increased from 15% to 20%.

"This measure will promote creation of more jobs in the country".

The iPhone X (or iPhone Ten) celebrates the popular smartphone's tenth-anniversary.

In the last three months of 2017 the tech giant posted a record profit of $20.1 billion (£14bn) while revenues were $88.3bn (£61.9bn), up from $78.4bn (£55bn) in the same period previous year. Apple had launched three phones during 2017; the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus simply didn't compare to the X. Consumers became concerned that the presence of such an advanced phone would make older and cheaper handsets obsolete. Today, we have the first major repercussion from none other than Apple.

The bigger iPhone 8 Plus gets a dual 12MP camera setup, whereas the iPhone gets a single 12MP shooter with improved optics.

The price of Apple Watch Series 3 Global Positioning System (38mm) will be increased to Rs. 32,380 from Rs. 29,900, and the Apple Watch Series 3 Global Positioning System (42mm) will now cost Rs. 34,410 instead of Rs. 31,900. The 256GB model is priced at Rs 81,500, up from Rs 79,420. The smaller iPhone 6s has gone up from Rs. 50,660 to Rs. 52,100 for the 128GB variant, while the 32GB model has gone up from Rs. 41,550 to Rs. 42,900. The company also updated the prices on its official website. The Apple watch Series 3 (38mm) will now be available for Rs. 32,380, up from Rs. 29,900 and the Apple Watch Series 3 (42mm) will now be sold for Rs. 34,410 which was before available for Rs. 31,900.
