All the plans which offered 1GB data per day will now offer 1.5GB data per day as part of the Jio Republic Day offer. With the increase in the data, the validity of the plan is also increased to 84 days.

Jio flagship Rs 399 plan will now provide free voice, unlimited Data (1.5 GB daily), unlimited SMS and premium subscription to Jio apps for 84 days. The existing packs, Rs 448 and Rs. 498 have been updated from 1.5 GB/day to 2 GB/day respectively.

Rs 449 plan: The data benefit has been increased to 136GB from 91 GB, and the pack will be valid for 91 days. Now the company is set to the plans as a part of a Republic Day 2018 offer. Jio will continue offering other benefits with it's prepaid recharge plans. Conversely, Airtels recent plans included Rs. 149 prepaid plan that has been revised in fewer circles.

Some of the rivalry tweets held previous year between Reliance Jio and many others telecom service providers.

Also, the Rs 98 plan will offer 2x more validity. Apart from that, the company also introduced 198-rupee, 398-rupee, 448-rupee, and 498-rupee plans, offering 1.5 GB of data per day. Now it has 14 days validity, but after 26th it will offer 28 days.

Enzo Amore released from WWE following rape allegation
The situation arose earlier this week when a women claimed on Twitter that Amore had raped her back in October of a year ago . Law enforcement officers in Phoenix are looking into the matter, after the woman went public with her allegations on Monday.

"Credit Suisse said Jio's Rs 98 plan could become "a meaningful catch all plan" that would drag down ARPU for most high-end smartphone users to just Rs 83", causing further revenue losses and financial pain to incumbents in the coming quarters.

Clearly, if we look at the plans, Airtel is offering a tough fight to Jio.

Similarly, Airtel Rs 349 plan is now updated with 2.5GB daily data as opposed to 2GB from earlier, resulting in an increment of 25%. These users will get 50% more data from 26th January.

Rs 509: The plan revision was also applied here, post which users get 1GB data per day for 91 days instead of 84 days. Earlier the 4G data was limited to 1GB/day. This pretty much leaves the Rs. 299 plan redundant as subscribers will be able to get the same benefits (2GB per day for 28 days) at Rs. 198.
