Quarterback Jacob Eason announced Friday that he will transfer from the University of Georgia. He started the 2017 season opener against Appalachian State, but sustained a left knee injury on the third series of the game. True freshman quarterback stepped in and remained the team's starter through Georgia's loss to Alabama in the national championship.

With Fromm set to start for the next three or four years at Georgia, transfer rumors began to swirl around Eason, many of them pointing back to his hometown school. He would then have two seasons of eligibility after sitting out.

The 6-foot-5 sophomore quarterback would have to sit out the 2018 season because of NCAA rules. Eason has yet to make a transfer destination known at this time. Eason told the Seattle Times that he had not yet made a decision, saying "Right now, I'm just spending time with this team. and we'll go from there". He did not name his destination, though the Seattle Times reported on Tuesday morning that multiple sources said he was expected to transfer to Washington. Secondly, Washington is home to Eason. Jake Browning, the 2016 Pac-12 offensive player of the year, will return to the Huskies for his senior season as the undisputed starting quarterback. The Lake Stevens, Wash., native passed for 2,430 yards and 16 touchdowns with eight interceptions as a freshman at Georgia.

Over time, living in a home with an elevated level of radon increases the residents' risk of developing lung cancer. Options for remediation of radon in the home are available at the CDPH Indoor Radon Program .

"You still prepare like it's the same as past year like you're the man", Eason said. Hamdan is now the quarterbacks coach with the Atlanta Falcons and will join the Huskies once the National Football League season is over.
