This weekend's Powerball jackpot is even higher at $300 million, with the next drawing Saturday.

The Mega Millions jackpot, which will be drawn Friday, is an estimated $247 million, the lottery said. The cash option is about $191 million.

In addition to the educational beneficiaries, players have won more than $11.8 billion in prizes and Lottery retailers have earned more than $1.1 billion in retailer commissions.

Marks matched as India ace T20 series
Manish Pandey scored one run off the only delivery he faced while Dinesh Karthik scored 5 runs off 2 balls with 1 boundary. On the other hand, Sri Lankan cricket team's depleted run against India continues as they stare at another series defeat.

Mega Millions and Powerball are offering Georgia Lottery players two very merry jackpots. The jackpot for today's in-state Megabucks Doubler game drawing, meanwhile, is estimated at $7.7 million - which would pay out more than $6 million in time for Christmas.

Tickets for each game can be bought at lottery retailers throughout the state. The $300 million jackpot is also the highest Powerball prize since August 23, when a $758.7 million jackpot was won from a ticket sold in Chicopee. No winning tickets were sold for Saturday's Powerball drawing, so that meant the jackpot grew to an estimated $337 million, which amounts to $210 million with the cash option.

Powerball draws on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:59 p.m.
