The original Life is unusual may be a couple of years old now, but interestingly despite the series' huge popularity and a prequel trilogy already here, it's never appeared on mobile devices, until now.

In a trailer for the mobile versions of the game, it is stated that the full first season of Life is unusual will be available for iOS devices starting this Thursday, December 14, and that the game will be coming to Android devices sometime in early 2018. So it's a wonder why Square Enix and the developers at DontNod took so long to get the highly acclaimed series out to the huge install base that iOS offers. Their version of the game has a few unique features packaged within it. And you'll also have access to a slew of iMessage Stickers if that's your jam.

Episodes 1, 2 and 3 will be hitting the iOS App Store as of Thursday, December 14th. Episode three is supposed to release on Wednesday, December 20th but some will be able to play it a day early on Tuesday, December 19th.

Facebook introduces new augmented reality effects for Messenger
Facebook has announced five new ways Facebook and Messenger will aim to help users spread the season's greetings: 1. Called World Effects, this feature can be activated using the native camera app on Messenger.

Life is Strange's first episode will cost £2.99 on iPhone and iPad, and the remaining episodes will be available individually as in-app purchases.

With its success came a prequel, Life is Strange: Before the Storm, which followed the story of Max's best friend Chloe Price, and new found friend Rachael Amber, three years before the events of the original game.
