This is the second terror tunnel the IDF has exposed and destroyed in a month's time.

Israeli troops stationed on the borders between southeast Gaza Strip and Israel shot and wounded six Palestinians on Thursday, medical sources said.

Conricus described the tunnel as "very substantial", saying it contained communication systems, air vents, electricity and reinforced concrete structure.

Conricus said that "to the best of our knowledge" there were no such casualties on Sunday, though he added that the tunnels could be "death traps" for Gaza gunmen.

He declined to specify the exact location in Israeli territory and an exit point had not yet been created for the tunnel.

It's also not hard to imagine that the often used Save To Spotify feature within the Shazam app will go away forever. Not only Apple , Snapchat's parent company, Snap was reportedly also previously interested in Shazam .

"We see this as a severe violation of Israeli sovereignty", Conricus told journalists in a phone call on Sunday.

Furthermore, the mere fact that there were no Hamas or Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorists inside the tunnel during the IDF operation is what also aided in reducing responses from the terrorist organizations.

The statement from the terror group did not explicitly reference the attack tunnel destroyed over the weekend by the Israeli army.

"We have achieved new technological capabilities in the fight against tunnel terror", Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman said in a statement after the tunnel's destruction was announced.

During the 2014 summer war with Israel, Hamas terrorists on several occasions made their way into Israel through terror tunnels, although they did not manage to reach civilian areas.
