This marks the very beginning of the main Champions' Ballad DLC quest, but it it's far from the only activity you can take on in the new DLC Pack 2.

Other award winning games included Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, which won Best Action Game; What Remains of Edith Finch, which earned Best Narrative; and Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, which was given the award for Games for Impact and Best Performance to actress Melina Juergens who played the title character. As an added bonus, Nintendo has indicated that it will release Amiibo for each of the champions. Called the Master Cycle Zero, the ride has a somewhat steampunk design.

Man Utd v Man City: Pep Guardiola not thinking about breaking record
Speaking to reporters ahead of the derby clash, Guardiola said: "The record will be broken, my concern is how we win the game". I never did in the past, I will never do it. "I am paid to give them happiness, which is what I try to do every day".

Winners in most of the show's categories were decided through a vote split 90/10 between The Game Awards' jury and TGA website visitors.

Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma was on hand to announce that the game's eagerly awaited expansion, The Champions Ballad, would be released that night for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U.
