The announcement was made by Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aimé during The Game Awards on Thursday night. We know next to nothing about the third game except for the fact that it's in development, though we did get a brief teaser trailer at The Game Awards.

Bayonetta 1 and 2 are set to arrive on Nintendo Switch on 16th February 2018, while Bayonetta 3 hasn't been dated yet.

These remasters will fight and gun their way onto Nintendo Switch in 2018.

For those who think the only exclusive games from Nintendo systems feature classic characters like Mario, Donkey Kong, or Link, it looks like you can officially count Bayonetta as a member of that group.
