Federal Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Shelley Lynch confirmed in an email Saturday that 32-year-old Earl Kimrey was living with 3-year-old Mariah Woods and her family when she disappeared almost a week ago.

It has been five days since the little girl vanished from her home in the dead of night.

Authorities have been scanning the area and searching for Woods since her disappearance. On Thursday, Miller called on civilians to join law enforcement in the land and air search for 3-year-old Mariah Woods.

The FBI said in a statement on Friday that the search for Mariah Woods took deputies from the New Hanover County Sheriff's Office to a local creek, where they used sonar.

In a news release Saturday, the sheriff's office also stated that it believes the toddler is dead.

Kimrey has been charged with concealing of death, obstruction of justice, 2nd degree burglary, felony larceny and possession of stolen property.

What Guardiola told Redmond after City's dramatic win over Southampton
"Losing the game the way we did in the last kick of the game after working so hard for 90-plus minutes, I was very disappointed. Guardiola said: "I have played against millions of managers and the different ways they play".

Alex Woods, Mariah's biological father, told WCTI that he had suspicions about the story of her disappearance. The warrant states that he obstructed justice by "removing Mariah Woods body from the scene of her death and did hide Mariah Woods death and body, knowing that Mariah Woods died from unnatural causes". She told police that she went to her room again Monday morning after 6 a.m., and she was gone. Her body has not been found.

The Onslow County Sheriff's Office says 32-year-old Earl Kimrey is being held on more than $1 million bond in the Onslow County Detention Center on charges that include concealing a death and obstruction of justice. Among them are the FBI's Child Abduction Rapid Deployment team and Team Adam from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

"We all hoped and prayed to find her alive".

Kristy, who this week disabled her Facebook account after posting the missing person's appeal for her daughter, claimed that Mariah was taken by a stranger.

The FBI was analyzing items recovered during the search, which included sorting through 95,000 pounds of trash from a landfill, authorities said. "This is my angel", the mother said.

"The focus of this investigation has changed from a missing child to homicide case", Meador added.
