YouTube has announced this today. Keep in mind, however, that the new feature is still in a beta phase of development, with YouTube promising to improve the tool before expanding it on a broader scale in the future, according to Roy Livne, the company's Senior Product Manager. YouTube's reasoning behind this new feature is similar to the arguments put forth by Facebook and Snap. However, YouTube may start pushing Reels in your main tab if its detects user viewing Reels more often.

With Reels, YouTube is allowing content creators to have various stories on their channels to preview new updates.

YouTube is also adding a Snapchat-like post format called "Reels" for quickly posting videos. This means that creators will be able to add media on their videos like text, images, animated GIFs, music, and also "YouTube-y stickers".

Youtube says, 'We learned that you want the flexibility to create multiple Reels and have them not expire, so we'll give you those options. Moreover, YouTube has also talked about its Community tab which now has over 10,000 subscribers. Reels is now in beta mode and the final product is expected to launch soon, but after proper experimentation. However, a report by TechCrunch reports that Reels will be available in a brand-new tab.

YouTube is always touted as being about the community. According to YouTube people wants to share stuff on the YouTube without the hassle of following the traditional ways of making a YouTube video. Fans can now see Community posts in their home feeds, even if they aren't subscribed to the creator's channel. Users will also have the opportunity to evaluate the Reels, putting them huskies or dslan. You can also enable push notifications for Community posts to let your fans stay up to date with your announcements.
