What is interesting is Klopp's decision to leave out Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane from the starting eleven, both of whom finding themselves on the bench in such a high-pressure match.

Klopp surprisingly left Mane out of the starting line-up for the clash against the Premier League champions, with the Senegal global only being introduced off the bench in place of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain towards the closing stages at Anfield.

The Kop star lost the plot after being kept on the bench for 89 minutes of the 1-1 Anfield draw with Chelsea. However the forward and Klopp were involved in an argument as soon as the clash ended.

Mohamed Salah put the home side in front, slotting past Thibaut Courtois to open the scoring in the game.

Speaking after the match, Klopp revealed his tactical change was designed specifically to counter the threat Chelsea's goal-scorer posed, suggesting Willian would have been thwarted in his attempts to score. You come on the pitch in three minutes and you feel like you already have 150 minutes in your legs.

Since October 2016, the conflict between Myanmar's Buddhist majority and the predominantly Muslim Rohingya has escalated considerably.

"I think after the travelling midweek he's probably trying to bring fresh legs in", Gerrard said on BT Sport.

"So it would have made more sense that Sadio was close to the right wing and starts from that position".

"It's not a big thing; we could have done it in the dressing room and it would have been the same thing".

"He wants to go out there and show how good he is and I think that's his frustration there, from my eyes reading into that". "Everything was sorted immediately", the German coach added.
