On Nov. 22, Trump began his Thanksgiving holiday in Florida by asserting on Twitter that he would spend his time "having meetings and working the phones from the Winter White House in Florida (Mar-a-Lago)".

On Friday, November 24, at 7:10 a.m., Trump took to Twitter - as seen in the below tweet - to publish a rare admission that he would actually play golf.

Trump, who is now at the self-proclaimed "Winter White House", Mar-a-Lago, tweeted on Friday morning that he would be (quickly) playing a round of golf with Woods and current No. 1 golfer, Dustin Johnson. However, Trump noted that it would be a quick round so he could get back to work on bringing more jobs back to America. His visit to the Jupiter-based course marked the third day in a row he had golfed at one of his properties.

Most recently, Trump's gotten into a cyber spat with the father of one of the three UCLA basketball players arrested in China for shoplifting.

PolitiFact.com compared the amount of times Obama and Trump had golfed at this point in their respective presidencies. President Trump meanwhile, will clock up his 76th round since becoming president on January 20th 2017 in Florida, according to Trumpgolfcount.com.

Johnson is now ranked first in the World Golf Rankings.

Forecast: A sunny and cool Thanksgiving for the Pine Belt
You will still need to grab a jacket when you head out the door, because temperatures will be cooling down to the upper 30s. We're waking up with chilly temps for our turkey day forecast with most of us starting in the mid to lower 30s.

Three-handicapper Trump and 14-time major victor Woods have previously golfed together though.

Mr Trump's revelation that he was playing with Woods and Johnson, who is now ranked as the highest in the world, marked something of a departure for the President and the White House.

But Woods also has golfed with President Barack Obama.

Trump also complained again Friday about football players who kneel during the National Anthem to protest racism and police brutality.

Scavino had shared a Breitbart News story about New York Giants player Olivier Vernon taking the knee during the anthem on Thanksgiving ahead of a game against the Redskins.
