Chance Of Rain, Snow - Or Both - Monday, Weather Service Says

Today, we're looking at a small area of low pressure moving south of New England that will bring a some showers, especially later this afternoon and early this evening.

Colder air returns on Friday with a high temperature in the 40s under a mix of clouds and sunshine.

With the cloud cover and the precipitation, it will be raw and quite chilly, with highs struggling to get to the lower 40s.

Thursday: Partly to mostly cloudy with a chance for showers late in the day.

There's a slight chance of rain and/or snow before 2 p.m. Monday, and a chance of rain between 2 and 3 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

For Tuesday, skies will clear through the afternoon and highs will warm to the upper 60s/ low 70s with southwest winds at 10-20 miles per hour.

The sky should be a little bit brighter on Wednesday, with a high temperature well into the 40s.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy with afternoon rain.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 32. Highs in the low to mid 50s. Tuesday: Mostly sunny skies with mild afternoon temps.

Another front arrives next weekend, it may slow down with storming is developing in the Gulf of Maine.

Saturday: Partly to mostly sunny. This will make skies partly cloudy with highs in the mid-60s and winds will switch to the north/ northeast at 5-15 miles per hour.

Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 44.
