Melania Trump visits Beijing Zoo

As her husband flew on to an Asian summit in Vietnam, Melania stayed behind to see the country's sights (including a visit to see pandas at a Beijing zoo) before heading home through Alaska.

The train, according to the schedule, would leave Kolkata at 11 a.m. (India time) and reach Khulna in four and half hours. Hasina too expressed hope for more such initiatives for increasing rail link and connectivity between the two countries.

"It's a lot of things that we need to take care of, and a lot of responsibilities", said Trump, "And it's all part of being the first lady".

Trump also toured the Great Wall of China, where she rode a cable vehicle, signed a guestbook for the iconic stop and walked along a stretch of the wall for about half an hour with a small group of aides and security officers, reported The Associated Press.

Beijing lends pandas to zoos around the world as a gesture of goodwill.

The first lady planned to return to the nation's capital after touring the Great Wall.
