The second reason Lau stated for choosing Dash Charge technology over wireless charging on the OnePlus 5T is the consistency of power delivered.

Taking to the company's forum, CEO Pete Lau has explained that while he believes wireless charging is an "exciting concept", it's not now as good as the company's wired Dash Charge. OnePlus believes that its "Dash Charging" is better than wireless charging hence, it chose to forego including wireless charging.

OnePlus is said to "consider adopting the wireless charging technology when the time is right". This doesn't mean that the company is not going to try the wireless charging forever. It may also require a more drastic redesign than we're expecting from the OnePlus 5T, since wireless charging doesn't work well through metal.

Also the CEO has confirmed another feature of the upcoming smartphone.

" I saw some people talk about wireless charging after my headphone jack post, and some wanted to add some thoughts into the conversation". OnePlus wanted to keep the OnePlus 5T the same price as the OnePlus 5, but it had to reuse materials to do so.

These are the questions to ask about the Trump-Russia connection
Last week, he pleaded guilty to lying to the Federal Bureau of Investigation about contacts with Russians. Both men served on a campaign foreign policy advisory committee under the supervision of then-Sen.

Reason 1: Wired quick charging solutions like ours clearly outshine wireless on quantitative measures. The company's CEO, Pete Lao, published a blog post explaining the decision and told fans that its Dash Charge fast charging technology is still superior. Apple, on the other hand, finally succumbed to consumer wishes and this year added Qi standard-based wireless charging on the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and the iPhone X.

The OnePlus 5T will be the company's next smartphone and this has been confirmed by OnePlus and their upcoming event in NY. He believes that this - wireless technology has a lot of space to develope now.

There's also the requirement of having to align the phone on a pad. But, that's not the case with dash charger - you can simply plug-in and use you phone for anything and at anytime. It doesn't matter whether you're gaming or streaming video.

OnePlus confirmed officially that their next flagship namely the OnePlus 5T will have the 3.5mm headphone jack.
