Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott skipped his weekly media session and Thursday practice to attend his latest suspension appeal hearing. However, because the appeal process has continued to take turn after turn, Elliott has been able to play in each of the Cowboys eight regular-season games thus far into the 2017-18 regular season.

Though Columbus authorities never filed charges, the NFL leveled the ban on Elliott for violating the league's personal conduct policy. The 2nd Circuit Court denied the NFLPA's motion for an emergency injunction and also lifted the stay that kept Elliott on the field in Week 9. He will return for Dallas' Chrismas Eve game against the Seahawks. Those contests being against the 4-4 Falcons, the 8-1 Philadelphia Eagles, the 3-5 Los Angeles Chargers, the 4-4 Washington Redskins, the 1-7 New York Giants and the 4-5 Oakland Raiders.

This may explain why it costs more than the regular version of the Fire TV Stick , which now sells for $39.99. It can also better compete with Google Chromecast , which lacks support for Prime Video streaming.

This season, Elliott has recorded 783 yards and seven touchdowns.

The Cowboys running back's appeal will be heard on an expedited basis, but the suspension is on in the meantime. But the Cowboys as a whole will have to lift the level of their play if they want to catch the soaring Eagles, who now have a three game lead on Dallas in the NFC East.
