Police are investigating an altercation between a Hurricanes fan and an officer during Saturday's game between No. 10 Miami and No. 13 Virginia Tech.

Video of the incident was shared on social media, and shows four officers picking up the woman at Hard Rock Stadium and start to carry her out.

She flails about and slaps the face of an officer, who responds by punching her in the face.

She then sat on the stairs of the section and refused to move, leading to the officers having to forcibly take her out.

Nearly immediately the officer pulls back his arm and punches the woman in the face.

Farrington kept the body in her trunk for several days until she noticed a foul odor, then put the remains in the dumpster, according to the report.

He said the investigation was still ongoing on Sunday morning. "(Ross) to strike (Freitas) in the face to gain compliance and control".

A spokesperson says the police department is reviewing the video to make sure proper procedures were followed. She was subsequently arrested for Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer and Disorderly Conduct/Breach of the peace.

Freitas was one of 23 ejections and two arrests Saturday night, according to Miami-Dade police.
