Houston traded up from No. 25 to select Watson with the No. 12 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson has torn his ACL and will be out for the rest of the season, according to ESPN.

In recent weeks, injuries have kept the Ravens from having to face several other starting quarterbacks: the Oakland Raiders' Derek Carr, the Minnesota Vikings' Sam Bradford and the Miami Dolphins' Jay Cutler.

Watson finished third and second in the Heisman Trophy voting for the 2015 and 2016 seasons respectively.

Savage has been in the system of old and doesn't have the running ability that Watson does so the question will be what Coach O'Brien does with the offense. Tom Savage, who finished Thursday's practice with the top unit, will start in Watson's absence moving forward. Watson was not able to rally them to victory, but he won his next start and has been off to the races since.

Watson has thrown for 1,699 yards with 19 touchdowns and eight interceptions through seven games.

The Texans host the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.

In the last five weeks, the quarterback has led the Texans to 33, 57, 34, 33 and 38 points. He is the only quarterback on the roster besides Watson.
