Tropical Storm Philippe is located about 20 miles southwest of Havana, Cuba Saturday and is tracking north at 29 mph. In the next day, Philippe will begin shifting more northeastward after moving over Cuba, and then closer to the Upper Florida Keys, southeastern corner of Florida and northern Bahamas on Sunday.

The storm is now located over Western Cuba, with winds of 40 miles per hour, barely above the criteria for a tropical storm.

The National Hurricane Center advised that Tropical Storm Philippe had formed over Cuba, with a forecast track towards South Florida and into the Atlantic.

The center said Selma was "expected to produce torrential rains and flash floods through Sunday", and Salvadoran Civil Defense director Jorge Melendez said the rainfall would be "strong and intense".

Rodgers shares new injury details during 'Conan' appearance
Rodgers went down after taking a hit from Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr . "I looked over at [Barr] as I walked off the field". Rodgers has already been placed on injured reserve, meaning he's off the Packers active roster for at least eight weeks.

"In areas from Central America to Cuba, heavy rain will be the main issue and not so much the wind".

A tropical storm watch has been issued for parts of Florida as Tropical Depression Eighteen (TDE) arrives this weekend and carries into early next week.

Tropical Storm Watches are in effect, as the brunt of the storm will stay off shore. There are no threats here to the First Coast but it's just another reminder that there's about a month left of the 2017 hurricane season. It said the rainfall is spreading north across the Florida Keys and South Florida.

While the system likely won't bring strong winds to Florida, it does have the potential to bring heavy rain and strong storms.
