The Moto X4 includes Amazon Alexa and its thousands of skills. It's like an Amazon Echo, only in Moto Mod form on the back of your phone. The information you ask Alexa will appear on your Moto Z Smartphone.

Back in February, Motorola announced a Moto Mod that brings Alexa to the Moto Z phones, and to point out the obvious, it's the Moto Smart Speaker. And with a 15-hour built-in battery, you won't kill your phone if you're constantly asking questions. The Moto Mod speaker houses four microphones so that it will be able to clearly pick up the user's voice when initiating a voice command. The dock is also designed in such a way that it can be used on the user's nightstand.

For those who love home automation, the new Moto Smart Speaker will let you turn the lights on and adjust your home temperature before you arrive. The new Moto Mod also matches the price tag of the brand new Amazon Echo Plus.

Kenyan election board head not certain vote will be free and fair
Young protesters have also broken up meetings by election officials in the opposition stronghold of western Kenya this week. Kenyatta on Wednesday restated his commitment to the poll, but Odinga called for a mass protest on election day.

The only drawback to this mod is the price, as it comes with a costly price tag of $150 when it ships in November to countries that support Alexa. If they're really intent on having Alexa wherever they go, then this seems like a no-brainer. To review the features, the Moto X4 sports a 5.2-inch Full HD display screen, 1920 × 1080 pixel resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 octa-core processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB onboard storage, microSD card slot for memory expansion, 16MP front-facing cam with flash, 12MP plus 8MP dual rear cameras, and a 3000 mAh battery.

Amazon's Alexa is making its way to the Moto Z phones by way of a new Moto Mod.

Amazon Alexa only available in select markets, including the U.S., Germany and UK.
