Raiders QB Carr out for 2-6 weeks with back fracture

"He has a transverse process fracture", Del Rio said, via Oakland's team website.

The timeline the team gave of 2-6 weeks is generous.

Del Rio was pleased with Manuel's performance. There doesn't appear to be anything dirty about this hit, but you can be certain that Raider Nation is not going to like Gotsis after this play.

The good news is the Oakland Raiders may not be completely lost for those 2-6 weeks. It depends on how long Carr is out.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger wants to get 10 goals from Alex Iwobi
The Brighton game marked Wenger's 21st anniversary at Arsenal , but he said: "I wouldn't like to reflect on that too much". Now we've got the first two wins out of the way we can keep on building.

Oakland's offense actually started moving the ball a little more when E.J. Manuel entered the game, but that coincided with a unusual shift in coverage strategy by Joe Woods and the Broncos from man-to-man to some more zone concepts. They beat the Bengals and the Browns, then got destroyed by the Jaguars in London.

However, the Ravens won't have to deal with the standout quarterback Sunday. The Raiders face the Baltimore Ravens next week in an important game for AFC positioning, and fortunately the next game comes against the winless L.A. Chargers. The transplanted team will be fine on the road: Thanks to its owner's decision to leave San Diego, every game is a road game for the Chargers, who have no home-field advantage playing in a soccer stadium in Carson (Los Angeles County).

And then come the now undefeated Kansas City Chiefs for a Thursday night game. That was in 2014.

And while Carr has been poor - perhaps even worse than poor - in the Raiders' last two games, there's no question that Oakland is a better team - a playoff contending team - with No. 4 under center, though recent play might distract fans from that fact. The Chiefs take the field Monday night as the only unbeaten team in the National Football League, and the Broncos are a game up on the Raiders at 3-1 with the win in hand. They are 2-2 and have fallen behind early in the two losses and have not recovered. A season when the results on the field will take top billing over their abandonment of Oakland.
