Oracle's autonomous database and cybersecurity solutions leverage machine learning (ML), a branch of artificial intelligence (AI).

Whereas Oracle's system is, he claimed, by using machine learning to understand when to deploy more resource and when it's no longer needed, so customers only pay for what they use.

Various vendors are also incorporating AI into their software, but Oracle differentiates itself by offering the broadest set of enterprise applications as well as complementary PaaS offerings.

Interestingly enough, the AI service being announced today is an extension of the tools the company has been using in-house to build AI-fueled applications for their own customers. He and Oracle's co-CEOs, Safra Catz and Mark Hurd, are under tremendous pressure to increase the company's cloud revenues and raise its stock price to $80 a share.

"We are honored to receive these accolades because they reflect our achievements in helping customers drive greater efficiency, agility and competitiveness with Oracle Cloud-based solutions".

"Blockchain holds the promise to fundamentally transform how business is done, making business-to-business interactions more secure, transparent, and efficient", Amit Zavery, senior vice president of the Oracle Cloud Platform, said in the release.

Oracle announced on Monday the launch of its new digital innovation platform for open banking.

Tesla Model 3 production falls short of expectations after hitting production snags
While the miss is early on in Tesla's Model 3 manufacturing growth process, it could be an indicator of struggles to come. On Monday, Tesla also mentioned that quite a few systems in its auto plants took longer to activate than it was expected.

Now, Oracle is bringing this underlying technology to bear on other aspects of its customers' businesses.

John Abel, Vice President of Technology and Cloud, Oracle UK, Ireland and Israel at Oracle said: "INSIS is one of the insurance industry's leading policy administration software solutions". They can also access analytics to see how their bots are performing among customers. "By using Oracle Mobile Cloud, businesses will be able to continue strengthening these relationships, even as users might be moving away from engaging on websites and traditional mobile applications to messaging channels".

Oracle's dominance has slipped in recent years, as AWS's developed a reputation for having cheap and quick cloud and database offerings, and Ellison has started to address the growing threat from Amazon. If a consumer wants to return a retail item, the Chatbox Instant App can gather all the information within the messaging platform - without the need for emails, downloads or phone calls.

"This integration creates one of the largest business communities to benefit from innovative next generation applications enabled through Oracle's cloud and distributed ledger technology and offered by Oracle's vast partner ecosystem", Goldberg added. The registry service is using a Docker V2-compliant API. We're trying to figure out ways to deliver more functionality and reduce our costs.

These bare-metal computing instances now are offered with 52 processing cores, up from 36 before, with more memory and much higher flash-memory block storage. Just a couple of years ago, we would have been sitting around at a conference like this and talking about blockchain, or IoT, machine learning, adaptive apps, or chatbots-it would have been niche areas at best.

The Oracle Cloud offers complete SaaS application suites for ERP, HCM and CX, plus best-in-class database Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) from data centers throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia. "Either to take that next business opportunity, or to prevent business disruption".
