Pochettino responds to Aurier's Spurs link

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has warned Tottenham Hotspur that Premier League rivals will enjoy playing games at Wembley Stadium.

Georges-Kevin Nkoudou (foot), Danny Rose (knee) and Erik Lamela (hip) will all be absent against the Clarets.

Having come through the ranks at Atletico Nacional in his native Colombia, Sanchez spent just one season in the Eredivisie before completing his move to England.

However, Pochettino has claimed that Spurs are still waiting for the results of his work permit application to see whether the Colombian global can make his debut when Burnley visit Wembley on Sunday. Still awaiting Sanchez's forthcoming work permit, the club isn't sure if it will be approved in time for Sunday's match.

Pochettino will be frustrated with having failed to overcome a much-changed Chelsea side at Wembley, but Spurs look refreshed after finishing in second place in the table last season and there appears no reason why they can not challenge, as long as they do not buy into the theory that they will not benefit from playing at their temporary home.

"They played well against Chelsea and struggled a bit against West Bromwich", he said.

The U.S. has been increasingly concerned that Maduro's government is heading down the path of dictatorship. The White House said in a statement that the sanctions allow for humanitarian assistance.

Rose may have to show even more contrition as Pochettino is famously reluctant to pick players who have crossed him. "I am confident. We are working hard to change the squad and bring more players in". "Today, I was talking for one hour with Toby".

Pochettino also revealed he gave Sanchez a welcome to English football in one of his first training sessions at Tottenham's Enfield training base.

The 21-year-old recently committed his future at the Lane by putting his signature on a 6-year contract, and it is certainly interesting to wonder what kind of fee and offer manages to lure him out of the English capital.

"Yesterday. We were playing a box and he was inside and the ball was in the air and me, bam, and he fall, and me with the ball!" I like his personality and how he is aggressive, he is fast.

"There are many, many players like always in the media".

"It is good to record and watch after the Burnley game. Last season we were talking, not me, but from other sides saying we need to strengthen our squad and keep the quality in all the competitions and keep the level", the Tottenham boss added.
