Tottenham capitalized on Jonjo Shelvey's senseless sending-off to beat Newcastle 2-0 in the Premier League on Sunday, with Dele Alli and Ben Davies scoring in the final half-hour.

"I'm sure Shelvey will be disappointed". "I've been caught out a couple of times for my temper but it's something I like to keep to my game. But we lost the game, so ..." Now we have to move forward and think about solutions.

Pochettino did not agree, though, and highlighted Matt Ritchie's challenge from behind on Alli too.

Pochettino, however, admitted his side had found it hard to break Rafael Benitez's men up until that point: "We knew how they play, so narrow and deep". "It was hard to play - the pitch was so dry and the way in how they play, so deep with counter attacks".

"It was not easy to find the space and create chances".

Tesla autonomous semi-trucks will move in platoons, prototype coming soon
Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced over 12 months ago that he was planning to produce a heavy-duty electric truck. From that it was obvious to us that the technology would be applied to the upcoming Tesla semi truck.

Mauricio Pochettino felt his side deserved the three points at Newcastle but admitted that the red card made a difference.

"He [Alli] was calm".

"We are strong enough to compete in the same way as last season but, for me, we need to sign some players before the end of the transfer window", he added.

"He's mature enough now to accept sometimes what happens on the pitch, but he is so calm, he is so courageous". He's so calm, so courageous. He then scored a great goal. "Needs to improve. Not in his best expression, but he is coming". The England global is yet to score a Premier League goal in the month of August since his Spurs debut. Bit nervy - nerves are good though. I've had a few talks with the gaffer in the past [about his temperament].
