Mitch Trubisky's strong debut won't change Bears' QB depth chart

Until then, the Chicago Bears quarterback controversy will continue to grow.

"I wouldn't say my phone's going to be off, but if you work for NFL Network, I'm not going to be checking you out". He completed just two of eight passes for 20 yards.

It wasn't just one play against Broncos - Glennon's horrendous decision to throw a terrible pass on his second attempt of the game that resulted in 50-yard pick six for All-Pro cornerback Chris Harris Jr. - that was the Misery of the Midway, it was the entire stinking performance: 2 for 8, 0 yards, an INT and a 0.0 passer rating.

"I think you could make it hard if you wanted to", he said. Fox will demand to play the quarterback who gives him the best opportunity to win in a season he must show improvement.

Despite this, Bears head coach John Fox noted Thursday night that the team's quarterback depth chart will remain unchanged.

Sarah Harding 'being monitored' by Doctors following last night's show
We went through so much, even if had fallen out, I'm sure it wouldn't be a major deal in the future". When Jemma asked if they had a "falling out", Sarah coyly replied, "Oh, everyone's asking that".

The Bears scored their first possession of the second half - Trubisky almost threw a touchdown to Rueben Randle, who was tackled just shy of the goal line - and after his first two drives, he was 9/9 for 74 yards with a quarterback rating of 138 (his QB rating actually went down after completing his 10th of 10 passes, a nine-yard gain).

Still, even with this instance, we do have to remember that this is just a preseason game. I was impressed for his first time in a real National Football League game setting. After throwing an incomplete pass on his first attempt, Glennon saw his second pass intercepted by Chris Harris and taken the other way for a touchdown. He finished 18-for-25 for 166 yards and a touchdown. I was already a major Trubisky believer before this game. The five year quarterback out of NC State enjoyed a fair amount of success for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, much of that success likely contributing to the three year, 45 million dollar contract he signed with the Bears this past off-season. The offensive line did a great job taking care of me, and the running backs and receivers did a great job of catching and running with the ball.

"As a starter for us?"

"It was important for me to not just let this moment go by", he said. "This is a special night". So, you can't blame the fan base for its excitement over Trubisky's play Thursday night, especially since those fans have been forced to endure three straight years of last-place finishes and six consecutive seasons without playoff football.
