Two schoolgirls arrested after leaving a crying baby in the fridge

The two girls face a number of charges including child endangerment, child negligence, assault and battery with a risky weapon.

Police said one of the Snaps show the 7-month-old's caregivers, including the tot's cousin, put the girl in the refrigerator, close the door and laugh. "I don't want anyone near my child anymore", the mother, who did not want to be identified, told WCVB in Boston.

Two teenage juveniles are facing serious charges after video posted on social media allegedly shows them placing a baby in a refrigerator and closing the door.

Moments later, they opened the refrigerator and removed the infant.

The mother of the 8-month-old child told WBZ-TV one of the accused is a 15-year-old niece she tasked with watching the newborn.

Police arrested the two teenagers and charged them with child endangerment and assault and battery with a risky weapon.

The revelation came as North Korea issued a verbal attack on America, telling its Washington enemies they were "doomed to ruin".

"I'm traumatized from that", she said. "I think it was all foolishness, stupidity".

She says the baby is fine, but she'll be hesitant about leaving her with anyone again. The girls were arraigned in court Tuesday.

The Department of Children and Families and local officials are now investigating the incident.

Police in Danvers, Massachusetts found nothing amusing about a baby put into a refrigerator. After the ordeal, the mother said she is not allowing her niece to babysit her daughter.

"Be careful who you leave your children with".
