That's what the boxer wants the world to believe, anyway.

"He's a lot younger". I've been off a couple of years, and I'm in my 40s.

Both fighters will face a 154-pound weight limit the night before the bout.

But it wasn't McGregor's urging of Mayweather to dance for him or calling him "boy" that got under the 40-year-old's skin. It'll be "Money's" first bout since September 2015. McGregor, however, has been inside the Octagon during the month of August.

Well, recently Mayweather spoke with ESPN, and the 49-0 boxer made the case, as to why the upcoming fight could be competitive.

However, he will enter his first fight in almost two years with an added sense of goal. But the former five-division world champion admitted that McGregor, 11 years his junior, has a an edge over him - on paper. "I lost a step", he said.

Trump Vows North Korea Could be Met With 'Fire and Fury'
The new assessment follows a separate U.S. government report estimating that Pyongyang possesses up to 60 nuclear weapons. United Nations ambassador Nikki Haley told NBC's "Today" show that sanctions force North Korea to rethink its endgame.

Mayweather added: "I'm older".

"It's obvious I'm slipping a little bit to even let a fighter like Andre Berto go the distance with me".

Mayweather, who was clear he can still fight, stated the obvious that McGregor is younger and that he is not the same Floyd Mayweather as he used to be.

It's the same sentiment that CEO of Mayweather Promotions Leonard Ellerbe echoed during the press tour.

"I can understand why people say it's a bad for the sport... you just can't see a guy who has never laced up his gloves and stepped into a boxing ring take on any decent boxer, yet alone Floyd Mayweather", he said. I owe the public because of the Pacquiao fight. What happens? Any damn thing can happen in a fight.

The reigning UFC lightweight champion courted more controversy after the tour's Toronto stop during a backstage interview with Jimmy Kimmel Live, in which he was asked who would win a fight between himself and Rocky Balboa from Rocky 3. The most groan-worthy moments undoubtedly centered on McGregor's supposed racism when he told Mayweather to "dance for me, boy, ' before denying any accusations of racism as he claimed to be 'black from the bellybutton down" before humping the air for his 'beautiful black female fans'.

Mayweather and his camp are trying to sell pay-per-views.
