Senior Game Designer over at Blizzard, Matthew Place, took some time to talk about some of the new hero cards in Hearthstone's latest expansion, Knights of the Frozen Throne.

It introduces 135 new cards to the game and nine legendary Hero Cards that, after being played, transform the game's heroes into Death Knights. Knight of the Frozen Throne is the sixth expansion for the card game and should go live in the Americas region on August 10, while Europe and Asia regions will get it on August 11. This change gives them new, devastating powers.

Blizzard is also bringing back single-player content, like that found in previous expansions, with the exception being Journey to Un'Goro. Playing through these will earn you free packs from the new set. Like the Ice Crown Citadel raid in WoW, the expansions single player will be broken up into wings, each with three bosses and at the end, players will face off against Arthas, The Lich King. Legendary Hero cards are also new; when played, they replace the user's character with a Death Knight version that sports a new look and ability.

Bank of England downgrades United Kingdom growth forecast
THE BANK of England has revised down growth forecasts for the United Kingdom as it held interest rates yet again this month. The Bank also increased the total amount of cash it is planning to print to support the economy from £545bn to £560bn.

Place talks about two new hero cards in the video posted below, Malfurion the Pestilent, and Uther of the Ebon Blade.

More than half of the cards from the expansion have been revealed, with more likely to be spoiled as the launch of Knights of the Frozen Throne draws nearer.

Are you looking forward to this new expansion?
