'Fidgety' Teen Jumps From Plane in SF

In his statement, Yakel mentioned that no other flights or runaways had been affected and the boy was not injured too.

The 17-year-old was not identified, but the statement said he was a USA citizen and traveling by himself.

There was no word immediate as to why the teen left the plane.

"It was as if he was like flying out, like it was really fast", passenger Sophia Gibson of San Jose, California told broadcaster KNTV.

"All the windows were closed, but then all of a sudden, someone said like, "Pop the windows open" and the emergency door was open". An airport spokesperson says the passenger was detained by a construction crew working on the airfield and had been taken into custody.
