WhatsApp counts 1 Billion Daily Active Users

WhatsApp has revealed it now hasover 1 billion daily active users.

WhatsApp has over 200 million users in India, and given the popularity of the app, it will likely continue to grow in the market.

Just previous year, we shared that one billion people around the world use WhatsApp every month.

The company did not disclose what percentage of the 1 billion daily users are from India. Mark Zuckerberg was deemed insane back then to pay this huge amount for a messaging app.

Green does not seem too anxious about the lawsuit, however, telling ESPN that he is confident things will be resolved soon. Green was arrested , but did not serve jail time, instead paying a $500 fine and $60 jail restitution.

After announcing Messenger had 1.2 billion monthly users this April, Facebook's head of Messenger, David Marcus told TechCrunch it had seen "double-digit growth percentage-wise" in terms of messages sent per user on Messenger.

Messaging app WhatsApp on Thursday said it has crossed the one-billion daily users milestone globally. Previously report that was published back in April on the website thenextweb.com, stated that the Facebook has over 1.9 billion active users to its service and WhatsApp has 1.2 billion active users. This is more than the entire daily user base for Snapchat. Yes, you read that right, these numbers reflect the total number of files being shared every single day.

According to the company the app is used in more than 60 languages. We have been getting an increasing number of reports about them over the past couple of days.
