The Dallas Cowboys had their training camp opening press conference on Sunday and much of it centered around the character of the team and Ezekiel Elliott's off the field issues.

"Because as sure as I'm sitting here we are going to have some that we don't even mention here today", said Jerry Jones, Dallas Cowboys owner.

Just over a week ago, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Elliott was bracing for a short suspension, somewhere between one or two games. Elliott was never arrested or charged and he has maintained his innocence, previously saying the woman was not his girlfriend but a "female acquaintance".

"My opinion is there's not even as issue over he said, she said". "There is not even an issue there".

Javier Hernandez Closing In On Premier League Move
Arnautovic, who previously played for FC Twente and Werder Bremen, has played 62 times for his country, scoring 15 goals. "It feels special to me to be a West Ham player", Arnautovic told West Ham's official website .

Asked if it the league would be setting up a bad precedent by suspending the league absent hard evidence and basically taking her word over his word, Jones doubled down on his stance. He is appealing an April speeding ticket for going 100 miles per hour in a 70-mph zone and stands accused of punching a nightclub DJ last weekend in Dallas, though Dallas police have suspended that investigation because the accuser has not been cooperative. For his part, Jason Garrett said he had a productive conversation with Elliott about his behavior away from the team. Zeke understands what the standards are for our football team. Law-enforcement officials in both states have cleared the player of any wrongdoing, and the accuser herself stands accused of attempting to blackmail Elliott. Two more could be: cornerback Nolan Carroll (drunken-driving charge) and linebacker Damien Wilson (aggravated assault charges).

While Elliott's status for the start of the season is still up in the air, Dallas is already preparing to begin the year without David Irving and Randy Gregory. Wide receiver Dez Bryant arrived late on reporting day. "I knew that this time past year".

105.5 The Fan has been reporting for more than a week that the National Football League wants to meet with Elliott and may punish him due to what sources have called "an accumulation of behaviors". "We're going to hold those players accountable to what those standards are, regardless of what the circumstances were that were involved".
